The 3rd Annual Tee It Up U-Haul Golf Classic, now in its conclusion raised awareness and funds for the Wounded Warrior Project on September 8, 2008 in Camarillo, Ca at Spanish Hills CC. The Wounded Warrior Project was founded to “enlist the public’s aid for the needs of severely injured service men and women, to help severely injured service members aid and assist each other, and to provide unique, direct programs and services to meet their needs.”
A shining example of how golf and golfers are so willing to give back to their communities, the Tee It Up U-Haul Golf Classic brought together over 200 golfers to enjoy a day on the links, a silent and live auction, entertainment and a whole lot of generosity for a very worthy cause.
